Why don't you just cheat?

first of all, i have this "rule" that i wont cheat gta, but yes i considered it

and cheats in gta are teeeeeeeedious long fucking numeral codes, and only give you guns.

i had all the guns i needed. guns wasnt an issue. i just cant stand the hyperactive pace of the game...

Oh well. If you can't get past a mission with all the guns you need, then I'm pretty certain to fail anyway.

I'm 23 next year and starting to feel old. I wouldn;t mind, but I look really young, which is increasingly shit 

I wouldn't worry about that Soph. It's probably a good problem to have. When you're 40 you'll probably feel glad that you look young. People think I look like I'm in my mid teens, and I struggle to get served alcohol, but I'd rather that than have people thinking I looked 30

its towards the end of the game. its one of my biggest "problems" w the gta genre. i love the city, the traffic, all that stuff

I hardly ever replay any of the games I complete. When I started playing games it was in the days of the platform games, and you had to restart the game every time you lost all your lifes. It really pissed me off having to play over the same level over and over again. It was one of the reasons I kind of drifted away from computer games. I love these modern games were you get killed and you just start again from your last save. I've just completed Mass Effect 2 woohoo I'm really proud .
I've recently had a bit of a retro thing going on and I've downloaded Wizball, Manic Miner, and Jet Set Willy. I loved Wizball when I had my Amiga, and Manic Miner is one of my favourite games ever

No need to stick in the aspie community. A lot of aspies who have good social lives and succesfull relationships probably aren't involved in the aspie community. If I wasn't such a fuck up I probably would never have found myself here.

You see, there's a lot of pirates who puts up a blogspot and then puts links on them where they host their files on one of the download host websites (like RapidShare, MegaUpload, MediaFire, etc.), I found a lot of music albums, even very obscure ones using this method. But finding games using this method might be a bit more difficult.

Which is why I will strongly recommend Files-Tube (www.filestube.com), you just go there, search for whatever you want to download, and it will do all of the "blog hunting" for you, pretty much. It will search websites where there are links to the files with your keywords uploaded to a download host. Go by file size. And try to find the ones hosted on MediaFire, because it lets you download all you want from there.

EDIT: The reason as to why I discourage torrenting is because I have heard that the government has a way of tracking you down. Then you might get sued or something! I don't want that to happen to me or anyone else.

i blame mostly FO2 for a lot of obsessive habits i got while gaming, such as ammo-hoarding, item-hoarding/theft, constant saving

I have never had any viruses by blog hunting or searching on Files-Tube. Just be careful about it: Don't click on any ads or results that are only a few KB's. You could get a trojan from it. And check the links that the files are associated with to be sure that you are getting the right thing and for any passwords or keys required. You can very well waste your time downloading a game, only to find out that you downloaded the Xbox 360 version ISO instead of the PC version. Or maybe the .zip or .rar file might be password-protected, but you cannot find the password anywhere!

Well, I downloaded Fallout: New Vegas, installed it, and it works just fine except that it seems to freeze when I try to exit the game, so I have to use the Task Manager to end the process. The framerate issues that Zegh has been experiencing, I have been getting that too. Fallout 3, on 1680x1020, Medium settings, no AA, and actor fade on MAX, I get a rather smooth experience with FPS rarely dipping below 20-50. However, Fallout: New Vegas, on those same settings, leaps from 10-40 FPS, depending on what I am looking at. I don't feel angry about this, because I wasn't very excited about the game anyways. I was just curious to see how well it ran on my computer.
