I need to study philosophy, but ::) its so lame, and retarded, and pointless, and unimportant...

What kind of philosophy?

Just learning who said what when, or really trying to find out why what was said and thought then? The latter can be quite exiting.

ancient greek philosophy is not interesting at all, some random guys saying there's no movement, or stuff like that, where you clearly see they were wrong, so it's boring to study.
classical greek philosophy was kinda better, but there was just too much of it. their view on ethics, religion, state, society and everything..

But how fascinating that they were so thorough, and took the time to think about everything!  :viking:
