I haven't actually examined them in detail in the sunlight yet but I'll let you know when I do. It is overcast here today. I will get a larger one.

I like them both! The coppery one on the left is clamshell-shaped and the green one on the left looks like a little pestle.
For small stones, they have a lot of presence.

It's odd that that particular stone has been for sale for so long.

I almost bought that very stone last time you mentioned it......which was probably a month or so ago. I didn't have the money then......actually I still don't have the money.......just spending my christmas bonus early.

i still cant believe diesel is gonna own that. say where will you keep it? behind lock and key specifically in a fire proof safe i hope. ialways keep my 27 ct baby next to my bed, in a protective case of course. i cant be dropping anymore fucking fire agates.

Richard, your passion for beautiful, interesting and unusual rocks has re-kindled the passion/obsession I had for them as a child  .....It's something I regrettably let fall to the wayside....but I never let it get away completely.
I've started collecting the 'trophy pieces' I always lusted after when I was younger but couldn't acquire.
I'm also planning to build lighting system form them while on display.
