It's commercialised bullshit though now. It's nothing more than a profit gap filler for the period after Christmas and before Easter. I only played along with such bullshit for courtesy when I had someone and, what a waste of money that turned out to be.

It never was celebrated here, but, companies really work hard to get it popular here. And slowly they are succeeding.
I still keep forgetting about Valentines day. Makes the surprise even bigger.

Ýup, they are trying to push Halloween here too.
And Santa is being pushed here too. They are not succeeding that much with Halloween yet. But Christmas is getting more and more a present celebration, kind of silly, because they are not cutting back on St Nic on December 5th.
