The Princess Royal perforated an eardrum about 2 years ago, but no problems since.

Plenty of times. I had operations to sort that but they didn't help. Most likely I'll be deaf within 20-30 years, by the way things are going.

Had it once, my youngest had it a few times. A cousin of mine has it a couple of times a year. It's his first sign of an ear-infection. No signs of hearing loss with him yet as fae as I know. My mother had it a few times as a kid, and she thinks that since then she is hypersensitive to certain noises.
