since this board is unmoderated, religious freedom can go fuck itself, and ill tell you this:
christianity is classified as an "Abrahamic" religion, ALONG with Judaism and Islam.
they are
practically the exact same religion, and use much of the exact same personalities.
these personalities, including jesus, are
most likely recycled legends and symbols, from several thousands years back.
they are attempts at explaining reality, as well as creating rules to live by.
why else would they tell some moralistic story about a guy who lives and dies for the only purpose of telling people how to behave?
nothing of what jesus said was NEW 2000 years ago either.
all normal roman civilians knew that you shouldnt cheat or steal or kill. theyre moralistic tales, much much older than 2000 years of age.
im just sorry you seem to have been brought up with such a hevy religion. you only live once, and religion is there to control and confine you, in the only life youll ever get.
