i have a norwegian name too, mario is my middle name.
both me and my brother got a norse + latino name, cus of norwegian mother and spanish/peruvian dad.

apart from a _blatant copycat_ im the only one in norway with my name
the copycat, i guess i shouldnt be so bitter, cus he was named after me, so it should be an honor. still tho, they just took my name

could be she "corresponds" to a wave of politican refugees that came to scandinavia during the 80s, there was lots of latinoness going around, compadreness music festivals and whatnot, but then most of them begyn moving back again, having good educations (often the reason they fled) but not getting good jobs.
my dad however came for luuurve (having grown up mainly in spain), he still was one of "the gang" tho haha
