I don't have Blenheim Palace.  That's the Churchills.  Just Buckingham Palace, Sandringham and Osborne.  Sandringham is done up in tartan since it's in the highlands.

YOU and Odeon and Callaway and I forget who else has "privileges,"  CAN indeed edit them if necessary and I would appluad the effort, however, contemplating a rule to ban someone for not being able to express themselves in an appropriate manner is the essence of WP and those twunty sites that would choose to please a few individuals over the collective wisdom of the many which make up a "community."

IMO a ban is to take things too far. Editing them, OTOH, is reasonable since anyone with a slow connection will have problems.

Besides, it was just the way Weakling worded it. Slow connections are the bane of everyone's world, and not being able to cope with volumes of stuff would be annoying at the best of times.

Maybe, maybe not. You can't know that. The point is that making the thread impossible to read for others is not OK, it's not your decision to make. It should be for every member to decide for themselves, can't you see that? You may be convinced that Meadow would have left using your method but she could just as well have posted in some other thread instead.

Its pretty important to me. And yeah meadow would have posted in other threads for a couple of days, but people would have ignored and ripped on her, and it would have made her leave. Symbols have a lot of power in the human mind, and as long as someone was forcing her out of every single thread she tried to make and only providing the option to be made fun of in other's threads..

It makes a person a lot less powerful. It seems ridiculous, but trust me, i've seen this done tons of times.
