I've started to post, so I thought I should probably introduce myself...
"You don't ever look people in the eyes and it freaks people out." It was the strangest thing in the world, and I looked him in the eye right after he said it and thought I was going to panic, it felt so intrusive and forward.

Hi Orbit
This is my first post (just joined) and you seem a lot like me. In my 20's I was told after a job interview that I never looked at the interviewers. Next interview I forced myself and was later asked why I was staring so intently (almost hostile). I now think I have got it right, but I am always telling myself, "look away, its too long in the eyes", now look back its too long looking away". However it seems an automatic response, like changing gears in a car.
Cheers
