If i recall correctly i stated defamation somewhere also when the slander thread popped up, Peter and i both discussed the issue of defamation etc a week or two back when he spoke to me about some of the links, and you can actually use statutes/case law that relates to libel (In both Scottish & English courts) so i was informed. I'll take my friends word for it, he didnt get to the position in the legal system hes in by being wrong.

To all those aware I had set up a fake HG account on AspieTrash, I wasn't aware impersonation could be a legal issue, and I have since changed the account name and deleted the associated posts and polls. This is in no way meant to be a suck-up or apology to anyone, I am simply acting in the best legal interests of AspieTrash.

The "Glaswegian" talk you speak of is a mixture of our native tongue of Scots and English (with other influences, as all languages do, due to high Immigration from Ireland etc) so it's as valid as any other language. English is a hybrid of different vernaculars as is most dialects/languages. Due to Anglo-Saxon dominance in the last centuries and snobbishness by employers, schools etc, we have been conditioned into speaking the upper class 'version' of English but now the US is the dominant culture in the world, "proper" English is slowly changing and im sure that you might be teaching your  children "proper" American English.
