This Makes No Sense

I've been on I2 for over a year.  I have seen many a thread and in no way would I describe any of them as "normal".  Why do we have an indicator button for a "normal thread?"

Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

I wondered that too!  Click on "What's Your Crime? Basic Discussion" (or any forum title) and scroll to the bottom of the forum index page.
There are little octagonal symbols explained at the bottom.  A blue octagon, appearing next to a thread title, indicates a "normal topic,"
meaning one with an average response rate, I guess you'd call it.  Peachy orange indicates a "hot topic --- more than 15 replies,"
red a "very hot topic --- more than 25 replies."  It's just funny that the word "normal" is used anywhere here.    :screwy:

I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.
