evolution is notoriously difficult to properly explain, without using subjective notions, such as "good" "bad" "fit" "unfit" which in the end only distort the whole idea, and makes it - in worst case - even more incredible to sceptics...
tv and docus only further this confusion, by making flashy and catchy explanations, fit for gathering ratings, rather than to educate.
evolution can be simplest explained by:
DEATH.
everything that DIED before it mated vs everything that mated before it died.
this can then again be picked apart endlessly.
some examples of ongoing evolution is:
1. size decrease in crocodiles, due to large sized genes exterminated by humans.
2. size decrease of elephant ivory, due to large sized genes exterminated by humans.
3. shortening of svalbard reindeer legs, after humans placed reindeer there (polar bear eliminated long-leg genes)
all 3 are examples of bottle-neck evolutions.
4. increasing breast size in western women, earlyer breast development. an example of sexual selection. western males focus a lot on boobs. and the genes for more boob gets preserved.
5. when chicks say "size doesnt matter" its cus theyre finally satisfied. the human male cock is the biggest per body among all mammals, and is fleshyer than it needs to be, due to females sexual selection of beefy cocked males.
