So, any tips about Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, since I am a male Warrior Orc?

Go get the Skeleton Key, right fucking now.

Never have to worry about lockpicks again.

Alchemy is a fantastically insanely broken skill.

Where is the Skeleton Key?

And why is Alchemy is good?

Key is a reward for completing the Daedric quest for Nocturnal.

Alchemy is just plain broken - create a spell that boosts INT 100pt for 1 second, cast it and open the menu. BAM, fuckhueg boost. and more powerful alching. If you get a spell to boost Alch as well (100pt 5s) then you can be making potions worth hundreds or thousands at level one.

You probably already know about this, but I find out about quests, characters, items, and walkthroughs from the OblivioWiki

http://oblivion.wikia.com/wiki/Oblivion_Wiki

And the same goes for Fallout

APROPOS

console code:

setgs imaxcharacterlevel [enter a number here]

will allow you to level past 20/30

since i found out, that one is a must for me once ive reached the 30 cap. a level-based game is pointless without levels. you must re-enter it for each time you open your save tho, but thats done in notime once you memorize it.

like
setgs imaxcharacterlevel 40
will last you tons, then you just re-enter it once your nearing 40.

The game where leveling is stopped at 20, or 30 if you have Broken Steel ;D

game designers have such lame reasons for lame decisions, such as the level cap was explained with the enemies levelling w you, so allowing you to level past 30 would create enemies too powerfull to beat, if playing in normal mode or above.

well...
then change how the enemies level up before releasing the game :S wtf :S
whats the problem :(

like when they scrapped the rideable tram in gta san andreas, predicting it would be "too boring"
assholes :(

on very easy, ive been at level 50, and still beat albino radscorpions same as before.

I don't like the "level with you" system - that's why I use FCOM for Oblivion, means at level one you can encounter truly evil stuff (Like Wyverns!), but at level 30 you've still got a chance to come across Fur-and-leather Bandits.

i hate it

the whole POINT of leveling up, is that you beat the shit out of things better. why else level up at all?
why get stronger, if everyone else also gets stronger?
that way, you didnt get stronger at all, you just wasted a bunch of time :/

i truly love FO2, and Morrowind, in those games the BIG monsters were confined by far-away lands.
Sure you could just stroll that way as a level 1 but it was suicide.
you'd have to level up significantly, THEN man up, and check the really dangerous parts out

that was the whole point of levelling

And of course, if you're good, or clever with a bow, you can still kill a Wyvern (Think skinny dragon that doesn't breath fire, but has a nasty poison sting on the tail) at level 1. But finding Bandits in Daedric or Glass armour at level 23? Bollocks, if they can afford that shit they can afford a fucking comfortable lifestyle.

FCOM doesn't confine them to certain areas either - Been riding along, happy as you like, when OHSHITWYVERNOUTTAFUCKINGNOWHERE. Horse is dead, I'm heavily poisoned. Shitjustgotreal.jpg

Balrog is a fucking bitch to kill, too.
