Well Prince Albert does try to keep his mind active.  As well as teaching himself calculus he's using Rosetta Stone to learn Russian.

Is Rosetta Stone expensive?  :orly:
Yes, but it is probably better than Berlitz.

I have a Berlitz French book.

So how expensive IS Rosetta Stone?  :)
My levels 1 through 5 French was $578 delivered from Amazon.

Not bad, I think I was expecting it to be in the thousands!   :toporly:

There are evidently only 3 levels in Russian.  But Prince Albert has decided to complicate Rosetta Stone and take copious notes, have 2 dictionaries, index cards, etc.  As long as it keeps him from running the streets, I'm okay with it.

What made him choose Russian?  :)

He was actually kind of fun to hang with, for a stuck up royal that is.  :hahaha: :zoinks:

cbc - It's something he thought was interesting during the Cold War I think.  He took Latin in high school and German in college.  I took French and Latin in high school and some Russian and some Spanish in college.

PPK - Yeah, but you were keeping him out too late at night.  He was too pooped to do anything when he got home. :dream:

Weakling, do you speak any foreign languages enough for them to be of use to you?  :orly:

No, I joke that I can speak enough to get arrested, but even that is an exaggeration.  I can recite Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star in Latin, but don't ask me to write it.
