I like figuring out how do do things alone that people think can't be done without help.  Yesterday I put a 350lbs machine in my van alone.

Too bad nobody is building pyramids anymore!  :orly:

Moving big and heavy things has always been one of my obsessions.  I moved a 10x12 shed across my back yard once with levers and rollers all by my self.  It's like a puzzle to me

Can you get Congress to pass a regular rather than temporary budget?  They must think they get paid piecework rates rather than a salary.

  I used to get paid piecework and if it wasn't done right you did not get paid for the work till it was fixed

I've just realized the difference between a prostitute and a mistress.  A prostitute gets paid piecework and a mistress gets paid a salary.

In order to pass a budget you have to have both parties willing to work together for the common welfare of the citizens

Cant do that when you have one party sitting on their hands, just to get the "nigger" out the white house

Anyone that can support the party in question, is nothing more than an idiot

I do not sleep very well in motels and will probably sleep very little tonight.

I sleep very well in hotels, motels, trains, inns, etc.

How? Any special tricks you want to share?

I don't really know.  What I do recall is telling myself before I started on my 2 trips to Europe was that I was NOT going to have any trouble sleeping on the train.  I also spent quite a few months working 10 hour days away from home and knew I had to be alert in order to get to work for 7 a.m., so I "knew" I had to fall asleep fast.

Actually I fall asleep quicker away from home than I do at home.

I know I I have to be alert the day after when trying to relax in a hotel room, but yet I still either go to bed, sleep badly or wake up too early, or all of them. And it gets worse with jet lag.

I chew on the seeds of a lemon. Break them up and ja, like the bitter-sour taste they have. Bet it's good for something (health-wise).

My biggest fear is someone close to me dying. I've had extended family members die and a few friends. But I'm terrified of losing the ones I'm the closest to.

Hardly useless or trivial to people who care about you.

Thanks. Sometimes I feel I overreact internally.
