I hate shopping unless it's the bookstore. I can spend way too much money in far too short of a time period if left to my own devices.

I lived only three mile from Millstone 3 , one of Connecticut's nuclear reactors when I went to collage.  Also while in the cafeteria you could see the nuclear submarines going up the river  to their base which was about 6 miles away

That's even closer than I did. I lived within 8 km from the reactor in Dodewaard.
