I'm not really a fan of mathematics.
Me neither. I would like to understand all the different sorts though. Just dealt with statistics not long ago.
I don't understand Ginger jokes
That too. Is it a form of racism?
No Ginger jokes are jokes about people with Red Hair
And therefore could be seen as a form of racism.

Jokes about what scared people in origin maybe.

Might be a remnant of the witch-hunting in Europe, don't know. But, would not surprise me.

How far did you have to walk?

I had to wait till I was in second year of kindergarten, after we had moved a little bit closer to the school.

Grades k-5 the school property backed up to ours so the equivalent of about 8 blocks grade six and up about two miles.  Where I live now the school will not let them do it at all till I think second grade.

I had to walk about a kilometre I think. Before we moved it was more, and, there was a busy road to cross, so, my Mum brought me and my brother on her bicycle.

Here my youngest did not want to be picked up from school from grade two on, and, she was safe in crossing the streets, so, I let her. No busy roads, though, at school, the danger is the highest, with lots of people bringing their kids by car. Some even bring their kid by car when it is less than 100 metre.......

People will never stop to amaze me I guess.

I used to completely freak out as a kid, if we drove next to water. My grandmother, lived next to water, so, it was unavoidable. Poor parents of mine.

Still freeze when being in a car that drives alongside a canal.

I was very much left to run free from an early age due to my sisters who were supposed to watch me but slacked off a lot

My poor mother, when my youngest sibling went to kindergarten, she wanted to bring him. An era of toddlers around her was ending. Kind a special for her. But, she didn't get the chance. My brothers and I had taken him with us, without her noticing in time.  :hyke:

Special talents outside the tangible worldly realm would be handy.

I never went to kindergarten or pre-school. Just straight to Year 1 the year I turned 6.

When I was little, an aunt told me that kids would get red hair and green legs from drinking coffee.

No matter how much coffee I drank, it never happened.

Would have been SO COOL.  :green:
