Useless today for me was twisting my ankle wrong enough to need ice all afternoon, on and off.

I'm more of a putterer in the yard than a "bust ass, get it done" gardener, these days.  Still have fun, but I'm also still learning the danger areas with dips and shallows where it looks level.

I go to a writers group on the Third Thursday of the month... I'm trying to get feedback for the manuscript I've been editing/rewriting since college.

Hopefully they should give you good feedback.

I looked into proofreading as a work-from-home job. But I'd have trouble proofreading American work. There are an enormous amount of differences between the two types of English. I've seen a list of just some of the spellings that American people are used to and they are too numerous to mention.

I read some books from authors down in OZ, and the one that caught my attention was a narrative written in poetry format. It was well-structured and put together.

Certain locations in the virtual worlds of my stories are based on locations I have experienced in my lifetime... one example is the ancient theaters of the Acropolis in Greece I saw first hand when I was 16 years old.
