She left to deal with financial and living arrangement type difficulties. I hope the floods in Queensland did not adversely affect her.

OK, so, adding to your confusion here, I saw Schleed's post as answering my inquiry about what it is about her that makes people miss her.

She is OK herself. Floods have hit hard where she lives, but, she is OK.

I like her. And I like how she doesn't try to mould everything she experiences/sees/thinks into one thinking system. She has seen it doesn't work, and rather lives knowingly with the inconsistencies than violating things to get it fitted in to one system I think. Doesn't stop her from thinking and wondering. I like it.
