I will be camping next weekend too, but nowhere so scenic as Lockett Meadow.  I will be sleeping in tents with 15 little girls, ages six through ten, and two or three other adults.

Thanks, Richard.  I bought the graham crackers and chocolate bars today for all the little girls to make S'mores, since they are a troop of Junior Girl Scouts and Brownies.

I saw sleeping bags for dogs at the store where I bought mine.  They were so cute.  It's cool that your dog has his own tent.  Don't let him wander too far ahead of you and your brother, if it is mountain lion territory where you will hike in to camp.  As long as you all stay more or less together, you should all be fine, because mountain lions are more likely to go after smaller people or animals that are alone.
