What a crock of shit

Why do they let these things on TV?  I saw this add today but there are others too like the detox your colon things.  Look at this add and just try and defend it.

Looks like those magnetic bracelets people were wearing en masse in the seventies. Same beliefs and all. Nothing new, just a more modern add campaign.

LOL, It's unique, because they use 5 expensive digestion enzymes. What a way to make people believe that it's worth wasting money on.  :asthing:

There's money to be made.

I was studying physics when Chernobyl happened in the eighties so me and a friend planned to sell umbrellas in tinfoil to help people protect themselves. :zoinks:

That was actually a good idea! We've all seen how well the hats work!   :tinfoil:

You could still try to sell the hats, adapted for swine.
Apparently lots of wild swine in Germany is unfit to be eaten, because of Chernobyl. In years with lots of mushrooms, up to 80% of the hunted swine will be destroyed.

What's a little ionizing radiation between friends :zoinks:

I read about these a long time ago and have been looking for one since with no luck goes to show this is not a new thing.

In the early 1900s, a radioactive ceramic water jar marketed to the U.S. public as a health boon turned out to be, well, a load of crock.

But according to a new study, radiation from the jug wasn't the biggest problem. Makers of the Radium Ore Revigator promised the jug would enrich drinking water left inside overnight with "the lost element of original freshness—radioactivity." The "treated" water was supposed to relieve everything from arthritis and senility to flatulence.

A former boss of mine wore a copper bracelet, supposedly to help with arthritis.
Aside from turning his wrist  green  I don't think it made any difference.

I remember those! Probably just sweat on those pads, right? Too bad, if they really worked we could cure ourselves while we slept!  :zoinks:
