Things to do with a live parakeet

Right now I am royally annoyed at the two parakeets.  Put on your thinking hats and tell me somethings I can do with a live parakeet, or a dead one if that's your thing.

They were just chattering away, raising a ruckus for most of the day and lifting the gate and letting it bang to get my attention. I guess they hear some occasional sound from the computer I can't hear, or maybe they're bored.  I posted in another thread that they'd shut up since I posted this thread.  Now they're doing little noises lilke, "Please, we're sorry"  "Mom?"  "I didn't mean it".  I don't know who's sillier, me or the parakeets.

Give them a bigger space to fly. Train them to return in the evening, and just tell them to play outside during the day. That way they will annoy the neighbours. And they will be happy and content birds when they get home.

If you train them well, they can even deliver spoken messages. 










Be prepared fro angry neighbours if they have fruit-bearing trees though.

I have to learn to do chores first so I can teach them.  I have a lot of book learning about chores, but not much motivation.
