The keyboard. 

(A memory just popped into my mind.  I was using the computer and PA said in awe, "You're not looking at the keyboard!"  Uh, yeah, back in the dark ages (1960's)  business majors had to take office machines - adding machines and typewriters.)

Kayleigh can type like that too. I'm envious. The only keys I don't have to look at are the backspace key and the spacebar.

It's a cool skill and I'm in awe of it too.

Have a look if there are affordable online courses. Some offer free starter lessons, so you can see if it would work for you to follow their method.

It will make your typing much faster over time.

I did a course on a mechanical typewriter when I was 12. Only just made it to meet the minimum of attacks a minute to get my certificate.

Did an online test a while ago. I got so much faster over the years, not only because the keyboards got that much lighter to operate.

There are free online courses - I found a good one that didn't use timing to get typing right - but I would have to spend quite a lot of time at it. At the moment I'm getting through an Excel course online. After I finish that I give the typing one a go.

  My brother tok a typing class in high school and kept the skills.  He impresses co-workers
   with his speed!  Meanwhile, I use two fingers and watch the keyboard the whole time.

Just five minutes a day would already work. Something to do in a break. As long as you don't stress about the speed of your typing, it will help. Accuracy is what to focus on. Speed will come over the years.
