We can get pretty intense storms here in summer...hot days build up late afternoon storms. The last really severe one was 18 months ago. If you watch the clip and think it's windy in the beginning, wait til you see what happens half way through the clip....this is the suburb next to me. I was home by myself.
This clip shows it probably in the outer suburbs...but it looked like something like the end of the world was coming....this Dad sounds like a stoner, but he tells his kid it's not a storm. It did look scary as it came towards my house.
And these are great shots of the same storm, but north of Brisbane. We used to watch storms come in here when I was little.
