I have the most ridiculous foot fashion statement going on.  I have on a pair of white socks with pink clogs in a large size.  I wear a medium, hence the socks.  I look like a gay hillbillly wearing clown shoes.  But since I'm not a morning person it's the easiest thing to put on.

Plastic, plastic.  My wooden ones (Dr Scholl) that I used in the 1970's in Europe are now too small.

I have a pair of bright pink ones, fur lined...croc knock-offs.

I knew a guy once who was paranoid about sleeping nude in case some emergency happened and he'd be grappling a burglar or running from a fire, for example, with no clothes on.

He HAD to sleep in his underwear, no matter what. His mates used to take the piss out of him for it all the time.

I always wondered if it was really because he'd feel vulnerable with his penis exposed in an emergency, or in fact if it was just really small and he'd be humiliated if anyone saw it.

oh and i've been without socks for over five hours, now.

(had to use my steel toe'd/arched boots earlier in the garden. gotta have socks on for that kind of foot torture)

When it is really cold, or I have really cold feet, I will wear socks in bed. Will take them off before falling to sleep. Don't like sleeping with socks. As soon as my feet are warm, I'll take them off.
