The process to get where I am was not some government endorsed brainwashing campaign or anything like that - I'm stubborn as fuck. It took years of education and dispelling of misinformation to get where I am. Nobody shamed me into it, I just mentally matured and realised I was being an idiot. Learning to think critically, have media awareness etc. certainly helped too. This is why I know you're full of shit Scrap, because I was like you.
