Val Kilmer in town
« on: April 25, 2010, 06:40:28 PM »
They are shooting scenes for the movie "Riddle".

Why the fuck anyone would want to shoot a movie here is beyond me.

Budget cuts maybe?

Let's just hope it turns out better than the last movie filmed here (Maria's Lovers). :zombiefuck:

Maybe you could get a little walk-on part! :cfm:

They film around here sometimes too.  Righteous Kill bar scenes were not far from me.  My guess is they look for somewhere that looks like it could be nextdoor

In this case you'd have to ask...next door to what? :zombiefuck:

90% of the town is boarded up & the buildings are collapsing one by one.

Town sold out to a developer with a huge line of bullshit years ago and has been trying to reclaim what it lost for years now. :P

Maybe in a way this will do some good.

Maybe they wanted a desolate feel for the scenes.

They've been trying to make some improvements (planting flowers, cleaning up, etc).

Those were taken before the 2 stores on the main drag closed down.

According to this we are a "film friendly" kind of town.

Obviously they've met a few of our more "colorful" and interesting locals. :zoinks:
