Those are my slim relatives feasting on them. They get plenty of fibres.

It's an American thing. We eat corn on the cob, buttered corn, popcorn, cornmeal, etc.

I make a super fast corn salad (great for non-cooks who need to bring a dish to a function.)  Put a can or 2 of whole kernel corn in the refrigerator to chill.  When you get to the function, open the corn, put it in a large bowl and pour some Italian Salad Dressing on it.  To make it extra festive use Mexicorn.

I'm eating half a Galia melon but it had a bruise on it's head and the flesh near it tastes a bit.. dunno, alcohol-ish?
