Kind of like French toast! Did you put any maple syrup on it? 

its funny how people call it different things,  my mum calls it gypsy toast,  i call it eggy bread.   nooo never tried it
with syrup,  usually use brown sauce

Maple syrup makes it outstandingly delicious, but the genuine (expensive)
maple syrup is best, never mind that artificially flavored stuff.

Correct. Let me introduce you all to the beauty of the chicken parmesan! It's a takeaway dish rarely served outside my area (say of around 30 miles) which "is a flattened piece of veal, chicken or pork deep-fried in egg and breadcrumb batter, smothered in béchamel sauce topped off with cheddar or Parmesan cheese. Then it is grilled in a traditional pizza oven and served hot." We also often have it with garlic sauce

Yep, looks like sick but it tastes just so good. They sell them in local supermarkets too
