Just finished a pair of kiwi fruit, now having a 'frijj' thick milkshake to wash them down, fudge brownie flavour. Got a fridge full of frijj haha. Contemplating putting a couple of them in the freezer though, because when frozen they turn to something like icecream but with a texture like a sorbet, due to lots of medium-sized ice crystals.
Thinking of the freezer just reminded me, that I have a bag full of 'magnum' ice creams, going to have a rollup and then go eat one. Bought quite a few honeycomb flavor ones, with the outer chocolate cover studded and flecked with little chunks of frozen honey comb. There is just one problem with those ice creams. The wooden sticks are just fucking horrid, the texture is plain awful in a sensory way. I just cannot physically touch the damnable things, I'm only able to keep hold of the ice cream because i use the outer plastic wrapper to shield the coarse-grained wood, which I'm doing now. I also must leave the last traces of ice cream adherent to the sticks because to draw it through my teeth....*shudders* EW. I can barely even TYPE that thought let alone do it. Even scraping it with a knife to remove it would be hideous.
