I wonder what Obama will do about this apparent ease with which dogs and ovens can get hold of a gun.
Well, according to my own experience, they are making it impossible to find ammunition for all these guns we own.
Might as well just carry a "Big Stick" if you can not find .45 Glock ammo for your favorite carrier weapon.
actually citizens are buying up all the ammo
police departments are having trouble getting range ammo
That might be true if there was any ammo to "buy up" as you put it. Believe me, here in north central Indiana the shelves are bare!!
I am fortunate in that I had a knee jerk reaction to "911" and bought many tens of thousands of rounds of all the ammo that fits the weaponry I have on hand, such as 7.62mm, 5.56mm or. 223 Winchester, .44 Magnum, 357 Magnum, 9mm, 300 Weatherby Magnum, 30.06, 30 carbine, 12, 20 and .410 Ga shotgun, etc... . I was already set up to reload all my existing calibers, so I also bought up an amazing amount primers, pounds and pounds of powders of all types, and bulk quantities of every caliber bullet that I own weapons to support.
While I may have a bit more bench work to do, I have the ability to hand load for all my weaponry. I also have three quite high quality presses for such an endeavor in addition to an automatic reloader for all my shotguns.
I am majorly pissed though that I can not reload rimfires (I do not think that anyone can) and finding .22 Long Rifle ammo for sale is next to impossible these days. I only have about thirty thousand rounds of .22 ammo hand and only about two hundred .22 Magnum. That will not last forever!!
