Found this cute fella exploring my garden yesterday evening, and he bantered in again today:

Hyke, did the kitten ever visit you again?

A bunch of copper wire, PVC pipe, and assorted other goodies buried in the insulation in my attic. As always, no pride in workmanship or cleaning up after oneself. I am suprised anyone would leave copper lying around.

Copper was not always expensive as it is now.  Wire scrap used to go in the dumpsters until not that long ago

Yes, he did and does. He's twice as big by now.
Today he nicked toy from our place and brought it home to my neighbour.  :2thumbsup:
The other day he surprised us by his ability to climb in the outside wall of our house.

My cats are not that amused, but, the girls and I are.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

An ancient gas Craftsman leaf blower (works surprisingly well).
A Homelite gas trimmer of undetermined health.
An old computer with the boards still intact (will take off the gold fingers, CPU, & memory and put it in my bin).

Some guy down in the Bayou country was electrocuted this week trying to get at some copper wire.  He caused a power outage and was found when the electric company went to fix the outage.  No further details, but I'm assuming this was one of the first (and last) times he's done it.

It's happening all over now,  here the big place to go is homes that are under construction or that have been foreclosed on and steal the pipes

copper theft was rampant after Katrina.  Some people would replace their central A/C units only to have the copper stolen that night.  This would happen several times.  Thieves would also steal the wires from the light posts, ones that weren't working of course.

Curbside: A rough looking Stiffel floor lamp pending further evaluation.

Rummage Sale: Some good movies on DVD for a $1.00 (now if I only had time to watch them ::)).
