What did you find today?

2 boxes full of assorted junk (mostly home stuff, unopened packages of weatherstripping, hardware, etc)
1 big Panasonic radio/cd/tape player (sounds nice)
1 smaller radio
1 DVD player
2 weedeaters (1 is junk - goes over the fence onto the neighbors scap pile, other I haven't tested yet with the exception of pulling the string once to check for compression)


Nothing like trash day.

OOOOO, that happened to my bank about a month ago! A payment I made over the phone failed to clear, and I think that's why!

I was at the bank to get a bank draft. The clerk had to clear a new one three times because his computer fucked up the first two attempts and their support told him to switch computers.

OOOOO, that happened to my bank about a month ago! A payment I made over the phone failed to clear, and I think that's why!

Oh dear. The ENTIRE system at my bank crashed, so no balance information was available. I think my over-the-phone payment went into a void!
That's why my cable got shut off. 


But all is well, I paid up in CASH and have been reconnected!

Found another letter on my doormat.

Invitation to get the youngest vaccinated. Have not told her yet. She will not be pleased at all.

Is it a standard vaccination against childhood diseases, or is it for the flu or something like that?

The last shot to make protection against rubella, measles and mumps complete. And the last general shot for diphtheria, tetanus and polio. Tetanus shot may be needed again of course, later in life.

I hope the shots don't hurt her too much.


I last got a tetanus booster shot in 1994, I wonder if I should get another! 

How big was that cut in your finger again?

And how dirty the knife. 

It can wait till you run risk of infection.

I never had a new one since I was 4 I think.

I've not had shots for mumps and measles either. Just was sent out playing at places where chance of infection was high. 

The cut is less than half an inch long and the knife was sparkling clean.
I suppose I will ask my doctor, and maybe have a booster shot if I step on a rusty nail or something like that! 


So did you ever get measles or mumps? 

Hardly can remember having the measles, but I do remember the swollen neck that the mumps gave.
My youngest brother got the mumps twice.

Found a dino waiting to be sold free from oblivion.
