My guess is a cat or something got ahold of what was left after someone cut the head off and had it for dinner.

SO, you also believe that a Federal crime has been committed?

Honestly, I do not understand why Canada geese are protected.

In my city they are a nuisance.  The come in and the fall and winter over in our nicer parks.  We have a winter-long off-leash program now hoping that people will bring their dogs down there and drive them all out.
This is why I see no reason to NOT take one every so often.

I had no idea that in Part's world it was legal to hunt them.

Honestly, I would just walk out with my pellet pistol and head shoot one, pluck it on the spot (other animals can use the feathers), leave the innards, head and feet (except for the liver and heart - delicious) for the other animals as well.

I do know how wonderful they are when prepared for the dining table.
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

There isn't much you CAN'T shoot in my part of the world.  Geese, Wolves, Black Pedestrians.

Actually the picture isn't disturbing but the quote in his sig line under it is when you put the two of them together. "Eat it up.  Wear it out.  Make it do or do without."   :lol1:

Went to a place yesterday to buy Dilmah tea. The jumbo often has it, not this jumbo though. :(

Found my sat nav thingy.

Most of my wardrobe comes from second hand shops too. I do want all my underwear to be new though.

It's so great when you find something really fantastic in the thriftshop too.
It's not just practical. The choice in sizes, shapes and fabrics is way bigger than in other shops. So only have to be in one shop.
That I work in one helps even more. Now I come across things that I really like while hanging them on clothehangers, or while tidying the shop, without having to look for it. Or a colleague tells me to try something on, because it is a "hyke" thing. (I do not like shopping for clothes at all)
I may need a third shelve soon, to store all my clothes.

It's like treasure hunting.

I get out of touch with what clothes actually cost, I have to go through the clothes section when I actually do go out every now and then just to see what things cost new, I've thrift shopped and hit yard sales for all my clothes since I was in my teens.

I do buy some things used on ebay though as well...I have a tie dye, bohemian style addiction, and that doesn't seem to be too big around here.

I found a really comfortable and nice legging. Daughter was drooling, she wanted one like that too. Looked online at the brand. Dang, that's not cheap. And the type she wanted was unavailable.

I'm lucky, got kids that want to buy what they like, not what is in fashion. So, most of their clothes come from thrift shops too.

Now and then I buy something from Marktplaats.

My style? Not a real style. I do like wider flowy stuff. Got a nice tie dye pair of pants. Not the real boho look. Too many people with that around where I live.

Also bought a grey felt hat. Needs some trimming to make it mine. But the shape is good. First actual hat that suits my head.

I'm not sure I understand why my GPS made you think about second hand shops.
