Got up early, like I do these days, and primered (can one use that as a verb?) my new bathroom door for the last time at about 10 AM. This, outside on the balcony.. with the door on two wooden supports.
Punched a hole in the old one a couple of years ago (p/m 5 or so/full-on tantrum-styley) and when a DIY store here had a 50% discount on some doors I decided to go for one. The door is good (well, not really meant for a bathroom.. multi layered it with primer.. esp. the bottom of it) and only cost me €40.
Also brought my broken Asus laptop back to the store I bought the thing. They going to look for what is wrong and contact me during the process. Hope that it goes well.
Spontaneously rang my sister's doorbell, she/her family of five live nearby said store, but nobody was there. Doesn't matter.. and I went for some grocery shopping after that. At times I feel like a kiddo in a toy store and buy food there that I consider überly nice and a bit more on the expensive side of things.

'Received' my 16 days ago ordered kitchen/cook's knife too today. Prepared dinner before I got it but chopped up a cucumber, I didn't eat, just to try out the knife. Turns out 'my' garden birds also like finely chopped cucumber.
Made myself a cannelloni dish at 5 o'clock. With ricotta and spinach, fresh thyme and oregano.. minced beef meat.. and a lot of freshly ground nutmeg in a bed of Italian-like tomato sauce. It's a dish one could serve to royalty, I arrogantly dare say.
I like it..
Off to bed in a little while, now..
