I admit, I have done that at times. Sometimes it helps...to a point, sometimes it doesn't.

It especially doesn't if you have too much, think you are superhuman and will wake up early to finish it.  :facepalm2:

Went to the dump today,  to throw out the old nasty couch, usually a goldmine for finding things but there was nothing

I suspect my topic is not that good. Clearly I'm not ready to write about it, at least.

But you're right. Sometimes booze helps.

Edit: Thinking about this, I realise that what booze does is to allow me to write, no matter what I think about it. It's not necessarily good--sometimes it's really bad--but I'm not endlessly procrastinating about it.

As long as you are not tremendously embarrassed by the result when sober, while others cheer it, it is all good.

Yes, maybe, but I prefer not to be drunk when writing because the result is usually not better.

Found that stupidity is catching if it looks good.

It's spring. It started with one, now more people are ornamenting their front gardens with huge pots filled with big plants in front of their letterbox.
It just does not occur to them that they can reach the letterbox fine, from the inside, but from the outside you have to wriggle the mail through the plants. And when the pot is really big, you have to do it balancing in a weird position too.  :duh:

I wonder why I don't find brains in the street.
