Silly.

I take my meds every day. If I dont, I die. That makes it easy to remember ;)

How many times a day do you have to remember to take them?

I take my shot 4 times a day ( but 5 shots total) , then my birth control at night. Which is more important is arguable :D

If you did become pregnant, it might wreak havoc with your diabetes, so maybe the birth control pill would be very important.  However you would die quicker if you forgot to take any insulin at all.

Luckily I never ever wanted to have kids.

If I had one, it would destroy my kidneys and I would probably have to go on dialysis afterwards and maybe for the rest of my life . It would definitely shorten my life span and might even kill me to just be pregnant. Doctor said she really recommends I don't have them. No problem.

I ran into an old friend at some fair not too long ago, she is my age. She had about 4 kids tugging at her legs. She told me she was so sorry I never had kids. LOL, I felt sorry for HER. If I wanted them I would have had them.

I wonder why pregnancy would be so bad for your kidneys.  Are they OK now?

My aunt had three children and she was a brittle diabetic.

Her middle child died in childbirth, though.  She carried him to term and he weighed 11 pounds 14 ounces.  His shoulders got stuck while his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, so he died from lack of oxygen.  She saw a high risk pregnancy OB for her last child and delivered her by c-section at 36 weeks.

No, my kidneys are pretty fucked. I had diabetes for years undiagnosed and it wreaked havoc on them. I'm sure you remember a few months ago I was in the hospital with severe kidney issues. I get a lot of kidney infections, and have been on lisinopril in the past to"protect them". I'm probably going to have serious issues in the future.

I was hoping that they were OK now.  I forgot that you were an undiagnosed diabetic for years.  My aunt was 14 when she was diagnosed and I think that she was diagnosed fairly quickly.

I was 25 when I was diagnosed. I am sure I had it a long time before that. I stay as healthy as I can, I just know that there will be problems that will be inevitable. I drink a lot of water.

No meds yet, just the coffee. And I've quit taking the Strattera.

I just finished taking the last of them.  I'm taking two different antibiotics now, Avelox and Clindamycin, in addition to the Lisinopril, so I'm skipping the multivitamin because I don't want the iron and magnesium in it to adversely affect the Avelox.

You certainly research your medication interactions before taking your meds!

Didn't want to, but did.

BTW:  All 3 of us now have had our Flu shots.  I understand it's hitting early this year in my state/city.

i haven't taken any meds for about six months now, save for the occasional Xanax.

You don't need them at the moment?
