Headaches from meds sound like the worst kind.

Taken my morning meds.

It is.

So yesterday I couldn't take it anymore and talked to a rheumatologist. She said I should get off the meds and confirm that it's them causing this. Both the headache and the tinnitus are known side effects.

After a week or so, I am to start taking them again, but I will up the dose more slowly this time and stop if I get the side effects again.

I have one particular med (only on my second month, out of six total I have to take) that I take once per week.  It causes serious nausea and I have to take it on an empty stomach to get the greatest benefit.

Others are easy, taking them once per day, but this once per week thing is almost impossible to remember.


Other than preparing for the  local, weekly garbage truck, who does anything once per week?

That's how my mum manages not to forget her once a week pill. She connects it to a chore she does once a week. So, Sunday morning, she takes her pill, and then will do her ironing. She is not allowed to lay down or recline after taking this pill on her empty stomach. Preferably she should walk or stand for half an hour. So combining it with a standing chore helps her remember, and makes that she is upright.

Shows that I forgot my L-Lysine for weeks though. Cold sore, and rosecoloured inflammations budding on my face.
