Besides my normal meds, I have received three numbing injections prior to dental work.  :tard:

What use if a schedule if life doesn't follow it?

The schedule tells me where I don't want to be.

What use is that, if you will happen to be there any how?

I meant that I don't like to have schedules for medicines.  Or pretty much anything else come to think of it.  I think I'm confused.

Check  your schedule, it may be the right time to be confused, this very moment.  :tard:

How did it go?

And are you now on additional painkillers?

I have taken all that I am meant to today. Don't know why I bother though, they aren't working.

He is alive, and staying that way.

Just haven't been posting so much lately because my keyboard has given up the ghost, and I'm having to borrow my old man's computer when I can. And I haven't been too well lately, some nasty stomach bug, projectile blood vomiting, the shits, GI pains etc.

Barely eaten in 3 weeks...well, I have, but it just wasn't staying put, one way or the other everything was going straight through me. food, meds, etc.

Couldn't take my meds by mouth and have them stay there for more than a few minutes, so I took what I could sublingually/buccaly (between cheek and gum), shot the oxy, which actually I haven't much at all of late. As I'm on two controlled/delayed release meds, both the oxycontin, and lansoprazole...or pantoprazole, forget which (its a proton pump inhibitor, these are anti-reflux and anti acid drugs, that block the secretion of acid into the stomach, used for reflux and heartburn, along with treatment for ulcers, and as a prophylactic against GI tract damage from extended use of NSAID type antiinflammatories, or aspirin.

The PPI happens to be in the form of tiny little tablets that have a coating layer that makes sure they only release their active ingredient lower down the GI tract, and I'd noticed that basically they were going straight through me and being passed intact without having chance to act at all.

So I sure as hades wasn't having my oxys wasted that way (would I fuck be picking them out of a lake of unmentionables..ewwww)

Some meds I had to drop totally, I've stopped taking my indomethacin for the time being, as NSAIDs are well known for being GI tract irritants, and I don't wish to expose my innards to more of an insult than they have suffered already.

Just went in to see the doc today, a new guy who I haven't seen before, and thankfully he was more than willing to sort me out with a fresh supply of everything to see me through until I had my next appointment due. Actually I wasn't anywhere near being due for the meds themselves, but not only did he give me them, he gave me considerably more than I had asked for.

So, for a change, I figure I'll put my feet up, relax  with a nice handful of OCs and tranquilizers :)
The nausea, vomiting etc has subsided, and I successfully treated the squits using tormentil root and yarrow (herbs that are good remedies against diarrhea)

Had to drop the anticonvulsant, which I wasn't happy about doing, as chlormethiazole I find, unless I chug a drink afterwards to wash the capsules down, and/or gaviscon, it irritates wherever the local area is when the liquid caps burst, so as not to waste any, I DID chuck a couple up, but I' back on it now.

Does anyone else have the suspicion Lestat and SirLes are related?  Maybe we should ban member names with Les in them to keep the weight of the posts down.  I hear postage is going up and my picture on the postage stamps can barely lift an ounce.

Related? he wishes :D

My mother...I doubt that. Sadly, I don't think it will be all that long, until she loses the ability to tell who my family are. It isn't quite that bad yet, but I think it will get there.

I think the high protein meal I had last night (mostly roast pork and haggis) interfered with the Sinemet, and I woke up several times during the night with muscle cramps in my back.  It's a known issue with Sinemet; amino acids in the blood tend to out-compete it for the limited number of active transport sites across the blood-brain barrier.

Started a higher dose of Zeldox (ziprasidone), up to 60mg twice a day and a higher dose of fluoxetine - 60mg in the morning. Unfortunately, fluoxetine only comes in 20mg capsules so it means I have to take three of them.
