No. Not taken anything as of yet. I got my meds very late yesterday, as I could only manage to get a last minute appointment, luckily just before the pharmacies closed, which meant I could take what should have been the morning dose of my meds yesterday evening, and double up on the oxycontin and chlormethiazole.
Haven't had anything yet, although since I've just eaten I can take my indomethacin (antiinflammatory, should always be taken with food, and preferably a slug of gaviscon to protect the stomach, as NSAIDs can do a number on the GI tract, and indomethacin is known to be a bugger for that; although I have had no trouble myself)
Unless one counts the transdermal scopolamine patch for my recent sickness that I put on yesterday, that'll last for another 4 days or so, and a couple of squirts of xylometazoline nasal decongestant spray. Haven't taken a morning dose of oxy yet, I don't need it in any great rush, at the moment, as doubling up on it late in the day, having had none in the morning due to my late appointment means its still working at full strength. can take my time with thatl although I'll probably take it in a few minutes or so. I'm in no hip or knee pain, certainly not withdrawing from it, and still hardly able to keep my eyes open for more than about 5 seconds at a time, without nodding off into little micro-sleeps.
I do have a pretty sore neck and lower back though, so I will take the morning one anyway I think, plus a couple of muscle relaxers (tizanidine). Think my neck and shoulders are sore and stiff from having fallen asleep sat at the computer, using the keyboard for an impromptu pillow
Just took most them now; the indomethacin morning dose, morning OC, couple of antihistamines (fexofenadine), pantoprazole (proton pump inhibitor, blocks stomach acid secretion, helps protect one's innards from the NSAIDs I take for tendinitis in my knee), a couple of tizanidine tablets to ease the stiffness in my back and neck-the back of my neck was pretty bloody sore, and some clonidine, that I take to stop overloading from happening in the first place, or if it does,then to bring me out of it almost as soon as the pills dissolve under my tongue.
Only thing left is chlormethiazole, a sleeping pill/anticonvulsant, that I take to keep my myoclonus problem from bothering me.
Time to curl up in bed, have a smoke while I read the morning paper, then take a nap while I wait for the postman to bring my order of goodies
