Just as long as the line is orderly and there's no pushing/shoving/biting/crying/fainting.

I'm guessing L-dopa, or a dopamine agonist, peter?

I've been on one of the latter, piribedil, that I trialled along with the histamine-modulating drug betahistine, as part of a nootropic regime. Found no hint of any satyrisis though (thankfully...there seems to be a shortage of Kanner's and HFA girls. I do date aspies also, but the former are my sexual preference by a long shot)

If I'm right in my guessing, I.e a DA receptor agonist, or L-DOPA (as L-DOPA/carbidopa combination of course), its not just sexual mania they can cause, but they have been known to induce compulsive spending, and gambling, as well as increased impulsivity

You have mentioned paralytic episodes, muscle pain and stiffness
Have you been checked for parkinson's? do you also get muscle tremors, and perhaps have to move slowly?

I get the slow movement (very slow; sometimes I slow down so much that I'm basically frozen in place), but I don't get tremors; just muscle twitches and fasciculations.  I only get tremors when I take sertraline at >50mg/day.  I'm not sure if I've been checked for Parkinson's, but I'm sure the hospital specialists would have looked into it if they thought I had any chance of having it; they've tested me for plenty of other obscure things that they thought I had a very marginal chance of having, just to be safe.

The new med is Sinemet Plus; it's a combination of L-dopa and carbidopa.  The carbidopa increases the CNS selectivity of the dopamine boost from the L-dopa and reduces the rise in dopamine in the peripheral nervous system.  Still, it's not perfect; I got really nauseous for a while after taking my first dose, and that was 1/6th of what I'm supposed to be taking 6 weeks from now.  My starting dose is 1 tablet of 25mg carbidopa/100mg L-dopa per day, and I've to increase it by 1 tablet per day each week until I get to 6 tablets per day (150mg carbidopa/600mg L-dopa).

My chance of developing hedonistic homeostatic dysregulation is vanishingly small, from what I've gathered.  I'm naturally hedonistically challenged, and I'm just hoping that it'll bring me up to a normal level of enjoyment and motivation.  I think the dysregulation is more of an issue in Parkinson's patients where they're on very high doses for years (>1500mg of levodopa per day), and had a natural tendency towards that kind of thing to start with.

Most of them. About to take my last dose of oxy for the night (one of the 20mg ones I got to up and add to my usual 40s), an antihistamine, and my late doses of clonidine and chlormethiazole. And some APAP if theres any in my old man's drawer. I don't have any myself, as I usually do not take parashitamol at all. Its next to completely useless. But right now, the way my hip is flaring up I need every tiny scrap of help I can get.

Took my sex-maniac meds, but going to see the doctor again about the intense nausea it's causing; the letter from the neurologist said to prescribe Domperidone if that occurs (not to be confused with Dom Pérignon, though that would be fine too).  Maybe I'll be a lactating sex-maniac.
