Did you read the link - the TOS that are highlighted?

I was on around or not long after he posted the thread ASKING for people to recount their stories. Now...let's say they do that....(fictional or not)....but they are quite graphic etc etc...then the TOS are at risk of being violated even more.

I mean, is the concept that hard to grasp Lit? Was the topic that important to fight for?

I don't give a shit. He's an adult with enough resources to defend himself. He can rot in jail for all I care. The point here is that the laws I was referring to (as well as the TOS, in this case) are in place to protect those who cannot defend themselves, that we should protect because we can. Are you really going to say that an amendment that, again, does not concern you, is more important?

Yes it was just words but words many are sensitive about and words that would call undue attention to this place and those who host it. Sites have been shut for less  all it would take is one persons complaint to the host and they would drop the site like a dead skunk and wash their hands of it.  There are few things that will get you banned here jeopardizing the site is one.  He says it was for laughs but he seems obsessed with that and the beast photos he posted.  He knew he would be banned I told him in a warning the only one I have ever given and he promised me he would stop.  Next time I came on he was doing it again. So I ask where do you draw the line?  How are we to know that it would stop at that seeing he is an untrustworthy ass who just wants to push the limits.  I am glad he is gone.  BTW he is also banned at The Drivel but nobody asks why to that one

^You're really just arguing his side. That's the great thing about freedom of speech. It goes hand in hand with the freedom to speak otherwise, or simply not listen if preferred. The point of freedom of speech not being a point at all is enough.

Oh no you don't understand. The way this guy was, you couldn't simply "not listen". He didn't give a shit about the rights of others, or how his actions affected them.
