Tomorrow I will awaken about 4 or so in order to bring Prince Albert to the hospital for his surgery.  He has an arthritic ankle that will be fused.  The rest of the day will be spent in a myriad of small things around the house prepping for his return later on in the day.

It's progressed from swelling to pain to giving out on him (4 times in the last week).  It's arthritis and stretched ligaments from kicking a bully dummy in karate when he was in his 60's.  He went from being apprehensive to welcoming the surgery just this week.
