Hope to varnish my wooden stairs for the second time tomorrow and also varnish some thresholds/doorsteps I already sanded today. Beam of real cherry wood of the kitchen 'bar' will follow later on this week.

And yeah, I really love natural wood too. If it was possible I'd much rather keep wood without any paint/varnish/what ever but that's not doable/advisable with stairs, thresholds and the beam-bar of cherry wood. They need a layer of 'protection' again.. all were quite worn off. Especially the stairs.. and after one layer it looks quite good already.

After that get some necessary things for the room of the youngest, and some extra book-cover paper.
