Probably not a lot. Talk to my sister, eat some pizza, watch the crown princess get married on TV while commenting on the morons who watch that sort of thing...

This will be you tomorrow ----->   :pizza: :blah:

You can tell us, you're secret is safe here.
You do read magazines on royalty don't you?

Obsessively. :zoinks:

Tell us what presents they got, aside from flowers and wine glasses.

A full report will follow on Sunday night. :green:

Want all the details on the clothes of the guests too.

And of course on how you felt watching it. Most important, your emotional reaction. Every tear you shed counts.

Lots of colours there. Who wore what is a bit beyond me but Lit's favourite Princess, Madeleine, was hawt. And there was a Greek lady that was hawt, too. And one of the King's lesser relatives was very obviously drunk when entering the church. The security guys (and one girl) were impressive, considering how they ran alongside the carriage for the duration of the parade. And the carriage was going fast.

My emotional reaction: I did yawn a few times, smile at the King's speech (cos he's a hopeless dyslectic), thought that the groom's dad breached etiquette by calling the Crown Princess by her first name, without the honorific, and thought that the groom's speech was very good and I felt happy for them both.

But sorry, no tears. I don't see why I should. It was a joyous occasion, not a funeral.

Years ago I read an article about why so many people get teary-eyed at happy occasions. The author said it's because we all know that human happiness is fleeting,
that one day it all ends, so even the happiest occasions are bittersweet. Made sense to me.

On a lighter note, @ drunk relatives in church!

One of the few things I remember from TV as a little kid comes from a German program.

Two kids fantasising about playing a wedding. And then the girl says she wants the role of the crying grandmother.

I don't get it, though. I don't get teary-eyed at weddings, birthdays, etc. It's a mystery.

And drunk relatives are a lot of fun, yes. And just as fun was that the leader of the Centre Party, Maud Olofsson, breached etiquette by taking a picture on her mobile phone, on live TV.

I get teary at inappropriate moments.

Not when I am supposed to.

But all of a sudden a bit from a song, a laugh or whatever can get me into tears.
