@ Callaway - The engine is so covered with oil (and oil leak detection dye) that it would be impossible to determine the site of any new leaks. The head gasket was replaced in October. So I have to have the engine cleaned before the auto shop can look at it. I need to put gas into it because I assume they'll be running it while they look for the leak(s) and my low-on-gas warning light is on.
The starter doesn't work because it's probably saturated with oil, as is the alternator. So, it won't start. Well, it will start if someone will hits the starter gently with a hammer while someone else is starting the engine, a 2 person job. When I go to get the gas I can't stop the car because it will be pretty hard to juggle starting while banging.
Anyway I need 2 tows tomorrow and somehow a visit to the gas station.
