I'm going to bundle up in boots and every warm garment I own, and trudge to work in the snow like a Saint Bernard!   :snowman:

You'll be carrying a small keg of whiskey with you?

I'm going back to work.

 :(

I get to take the Princess Royal to the Disney Store to spend the gift card Santa left for her.  Joy.

:zombiefuck: I'm allergic to Disney stores.

If you feel slightly nauseous when entering the store and observing all the new not-so-subtle ways they've come up with to promote their latest movie offering, have trouble breathing when your darling offspring holds up the new and innovative Mickey-and-his-friends-transformer-castle-pirate-hook-cuddly-animal and you notice its price tag, and finally feel yourself descending into cardiac arrest when the clerk calls the object a good choice, praising the "timeless classic" that is its inspiration in perfect pitch with the theme from Pirates of the Caribbean booming in the background, you've already got it.

We'll all die.

The only relief I have is that she only has a $25 gift card from Santa to spend, which should be one animal.

I took my daughter into a Disney store at a nearby mall in the fall and was lucky enough that they were having a sale on stuffed toys.  She got both a Stitch and an Angel stuffed alien for around $10, but they were pretty small.

Back to work...ugh.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

How to apologise to Scrap
