I'm going to give that singles group event a try... I'm just a little uneasy about it, but like always at this frame of time, I need to get out of my comfort zone.

I know it's hard, but, sometimes something good comes out of that.  Just leave yourself an out if it gets overwhelming!

No, you need a weapon or the confidence to feel safe in your own skin.
If it's just a wee bit off, get through it. If it's a massive bit off, deploy your weapon, which could be as simple as your voice at high level or a whistle and then your "feets" as needed.

Next week's holidays. Due to the generous Queen, we have a day of mourning next Thursday, then we celebrate her birthday one more time on the following Monday. Can you guess how many people are going to take the Friday off in order to make it a five day weekend?

I have to work on Friday so it won't be me.

In Victoria the Friday is also a public holiday due to AFL Grand Finale, so here it will be everyone  (for me every day is a day off, except for the demons in my head I guess)

Is Monday 26th over there a public holiday too?

The demons are most likely a result of me constantly trying to solve the unsolvable problems in my life and not being kinder to myself, probably the same as everyone else.

Don't think Monday is also a public holiday here, the next one after that is Melbourne Cup day which is a Tuesday, so everyone just takes Monday off anyway.
