HARTFORD (AP) — Thieves scaled a wall at a pharmaceutical warehouse over the weekend, cut a hole in the roof and rappelled inside to steal about $70 million in antidepressants and other prescription drugs, authorities said Tuesday.

The thieves disabled the alarm at the Eli Lilly & Co. warehouse early Sunday in Enfield, where they spent at least an hour loading pallets of drugs into a waiting vehicle at the warehouse's loading dock during a wind-whipped rainstorm, police said.

The thieves, whose identities remained unknown Tuesday, made off with enough drugs to fill at least one tractor-trailer, police said.

My state in the news :o  Fuck 75 million dollars worth filling at least one tractor trailer WTF didn't these guys even have a good alarm system.  I can't believe they get away with anyone stopping them. I can't even walk in the mall without security eyeballing me. Someone did a similar robbery in my town but it was two to three million in cigarettes from a warehouse less than a mile from  and on the same road as the police station.

my brother stole 10 wonderbaums from the gas station the other day. smooth stealth, just grabbed them, and walked out. i admire that!
fuck shell and 7-11 and the rest.
i used to shoplift, for fun, but i was young and foolish. nowadays i'd be way too worried about the fine if i get cought.

You're wise to have stopped shoplifting. Even people who have stolen for a living for many years eventually get caught...sometimes when stolen stuff falls out of their big coat!

Wunderbaums are Christmas tree-like things that you hang in your rear view mirror in your car. They smell good, though it's a white trash thing to do that nowadays. It means "wonder tree" in German.  :orly:
