Ten Reasons Why Aspies Shouldn't Be Mods

and why they would make bad ones. :zoinks:

1. They have poor TOM and may expect you to think what they think

2. They want you to agree to their point of views

3. They will expect you to be psychic

4. They don't take criticism well

5. They do not understand your point of view

6. They refuse to listen to your side

7. They take things so damn literal

8. They will not understand how you are feeling

9. They are too black and white

10. And of course they will do unfair bannings due to these reasons



Anyone feel free to add or make this list better by wording it better.

I am and have been a mod at a few sites and to be honest I am a glorified member and let people do their own thing. I move threads if they are posted in the wrong section and clean up viagra spammers and stuff like that. Dunno how I fall into any of those traps.

i tried it.  but i don't think that my ego warrants a title.

i am not a good mod because i let people do almost anything they want.  and i can't even be arsed to move threads.  everything, i believe, is a free for all.

Yeah my interactions tend to be along the lines of what is the minimum I can get away without risking doing nothing at all and being slammed for sitting on my arse. It really amounts to not a lot.
I am also a technophobe so the risk of doing something wrong stops me doing a lot of interesting shit. I am basically too worried I will have an "Ooopppss moment and completely fuck the board". Bare minimum stuff.
